Street Outlaws: The Show That has Made Me a "Car Guy"

I started watching Street Outlaws, a street racing show on the Discovery channel a few months ago and now I am addicted. The show is about car guys racing each other on Saturday nights trying to move up their "Top10" list. For someone who was never into the car scene, this has quickly became one of my favorite shows. The show does a great job of making you feel like you are hanging out with the cast.

Street Outlaws has proved that Oklahoma City boasts some of the fastest street racers in America. I am particularly a big fan of Big Chief. Big Chief runs “The List”. The List is a tally of the 10 best street racers in OKC, so if you want to move up a spot, you’ve got to challenge someone else who’s ranked - and win. The competition is always fierce, fast and merciless on the show. The stakes are high and the risks even higher -- but it’s all worth it when you are the top dog!

I have so many questions about the show. Where do these guys get all that money to dump into those cars every week? How are they not getting arrested racing in the street? How do they know so much about race cars? Do they pay their crews? It seems like they all own speed shops. How can there be so many speed shops in Oklahoma City?

The guys on the show are way too funny . How great is that Farmtruck, Azn thing? I want to rent

Azn for my next party! Of course Big Chief holds the show together. I also root against half the racers. All and all , great watching fun!
